Winter Programs

The YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston is offering both an evening Luminary Walk, as well as a weekly Snowshoe Program during the 2024 winter season. Both programs take place at the Y’s Outdoor Learning & Education Center (OLEC) located at 167 Stetson Road in Auburn.

LUMINARY WALK

Saturday February 10 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, join the YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston at 167 Stetson Road in Auburn for a family friendly walk along a candlelit path.

Experience the energy of the Snow Moon! Enjoy the warmth of a bonfire while you roast a marshmallow or two!

Snowshoes are encouraged. Parents must accompany all children. Suggested donation for this event is $10 (one ticket is good for family admission).

SNOWSHOE PROGRAM

The quickest way to happiness is straight through the snow. Strap in, step outside, and refresh your senses with beautiful natural surroundings, fresh air, and a trek through the snow with the company of your peers. No experience necessary! 

This program runs once a week for four weeks, happening every Tuesday from February 13 to March 5 at the Y’s Outdoor Learning and Education Center (OLEC), located at 167 Stetson Road in Auburn. If you need to borrow equipment, please email Marcie Hird mhird@alymca.org following registration.

Suggested donation for this program is $20 total for 4 weeks of snowshoeing (one ticket is good for admission to all available sessions).
