Previous experience and training instructing group exercise classes, developing your own choreography or willingness to gain experience and develop further skills under YMCA guidance.
Current CPR/AED/Basic First Aid Certification.
A current professional Group Exercise instructor or Specialty Certification if applicable (YMCA, ACE, AFAA, NETA, ACSM, NASM).

Interested in meaningful work with a wide variety of hours? Are you a swim enthusiast or certified lifeguard with an interest in helping others? The YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston is now hiring lifeguards for part-time and seasonal positions. Our aquatics team offers a flexible schedule and consistent work. Join our experienced and professional staff and help keep our community safe!
Must be at least 15 years old.
Lifeguard certification through American Redcross or the YMCA (preferred).
Professional Rescuer CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (preferred).
Must be able to comprehend and enforce all rules and safety requirements surrounding pool safety.
