Dear YMCA members – after weeks of deliberation, the decision has been made to reduce the hours at our Health Club & Spa location (1977 S. Lisbon Rd, Lewiston, ME) starting Monday November 3, 2025.
We have worked with the YMCA operations team and have met a few different times with the HCS staff to try to provide as many open hours as possible, have as much access to the pool area as possible, and still offer the group exercise classes – all while also being budgetarily diligent.
New hours for Y Health Club & Spa starting Monday November 3, 2025:
Front Desk
Mon – Fri: 4:15am – 7:00pm
Pool (closed 3-4pm daily)
Mon, Wed, Fri: 5:00am – 7:00pm
Tues, Thurs: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday – Sunday: Location Closed
We know that your routine is important, and we know the new hours might require a shift in terms of when you can frequent HCS. But we believe, and our research has shown, that this will be an important step in making HCS a more sustainable facility while also ensuring that it continues to be a resource for you and other community members.

We could use your help! Our Membership Department is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to assist with welcoming members & guests and helping keep our welcome centers running smoothly.

Yes – our contract with Silver Sneakers has been extended until December 2026.
We have decided to reassess the hours at HCS on an on-going basis. We know that change is not easy. We will be very sensitive to making any additional changes in the near future, so our members do not have to constantly deal with adjustments to operating hours.
