Let this summer be an opportunity for your child to grow, develop strong roots, positive values, and create memories that will last a lifetime!
Have you ever seen the look on a child’s face when they interact with a frog for the first time? It’s a kaleidoscope of emotions: trepidation, curiosity, wonder, and joy. It is a powerful reminder of the emotional, physical, and spiritual benefits that come from interacting with nature.
We strive to create a fun, safe, nurturing environment for all. Themed weeks, indoor & outdoor play, guest speakers, summer learning loss prevention, arts & crafts, music, and more are all on the horizon for this year’s camp experience.
Through the Y, millions of youths are cultivating values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement. Our summer camp programs are licensed by both the state of Maine and the city of Auburn.
Runs from June 17 to August 16, 2024.
The Family Information Packet provides essential information to campers and parents, detailing our philosophy, policies, schedules, what to bring each day, and special notes.
Our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program provides leadership training for teens entering the 9th and 10th grade and may lead to a Counselor position the following year.
We offer our services to all – regardless of their economic situation or ability to pay. This confidential financial aid resource is funded through the YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston Annual Campaign.
Positions available for Group Counselors, Program Counselors, and Lifeguards.
