SKILLS & DRILLS
This is an instructional program for boys and girls who are learning the game of basketball. Players will be introduced to the basic skills, fundamentals, and rules through drills and interactive games.
Classes are held at the Y, 62 Turner Street in Auburn.
Session 1: Pre-K
Tuesdays from 4:15 to 5:00pm
January 06 – February 10, 2026
Session 2: Kindergarten
Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:00pm
January 08 – February 12, 2026
Each session is limited to 12 players, so register today!

BIDDY BASKETBALL
The YMCA Biddy Basketball League, for Boys and Girls in Grades 1-6, is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball and develop skills in dribbling, passing, and shooting in a team environment. Each division will conduct a player evaluation and draft, recognizing individual talent levels to provide the best possible scenario for equal play among teams.
Player evaluations run from October 30 to November 2, 2025.
Practices start the week of November 3, 2025.
Each team plays 12 games per season, from November 15/16, 2025, to February 7/8, 2026.
Each team is limited to 9 players, and each player is guaranteed to play no less than half the game.

Rookie Division: Grades 1 & 2
- Player Evaluations: 1st Grade 5:00pm / 2nd Grade 6:00pm on Thursday Oct 30, 2025 at the Turner Street Y.
- Games: Sunday mornings at the Lewiston Armory starting 8:00am.
- Practices: Once per week at the Turner Street Y.
Pee Wee Division: Grades 3 & 4
- Player Evaluations: 8:15am Sunday Nov 2, 2025 at Lewiston High School (location updated Oct 22, evals no longer at Lewiston Armory).
- Games: Saturday mornings at the Turner Street Y starting 8:00am.
- Practices: Once per week at the Turner Street Y.
Junior Division: Grades 5 & 6
- Player Evaluations: 8:15am Saturday Nov 1, 2025 at Edward Little High School (location updated Oct 22, evals no longer at Lewiston Armory).
- Games: Sunday mornings at Edward Little High School starting 8:00am.
- Practices: Once per week at the Turner Street Y.

2025/26 Season:
$100 for Members
$115 for Non-Members
Travel Basketball: Boys & Girls Grades 3 – 6
- 2025/26 schedule and locations TBD.
- Participants must be registered and participate in the Y Biddy Basketball League to be eligible.
- Requires an additional program fee, practice time, travel (i.e. Saco), and games on the weekends.
- Anyone trying out for Travel Basketball must CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP so we can track numbers and gather pertinent information.
