A decision will be made a day prior, by 2:00pm, regarding the closing of Y locations, a delayed opening (9:00am start), or canceling ECE & SA care.
YMCA FACILITIES, CLASSES, AND PROGRAMS
- If the Y Announces a “Delay” then the Y will open at 9:00am.
- The Fitness Centers will open at 9:00am
- No Group Ex. Classes until 12:00pm
- If necessary, a decision regarding mid-day programs/classes will be made at 10am.
- For any evening cancellations/closings, the decision will be made at 2pm.
ECE & SCHOOL AGE CARE
- If the Y is open, as scheduled, and Auburn schools have a delay, ECE & AS care will begin at 7:00am.
- Students in Before School care will be brought to school following the delay.
- If the Y is open, as scheduled, and Auburn schools have canceled, ECE & AS care will provide full day care from 7:00am-5:30pm.
- If the Y decides to close early on any given day, a decision will be made by 10:00am and all families will be contacted.
- SA Families will be informed that the Y will not be picking up their child at school.
- Auburn Schools will also be made aware.
- ECE families will be contacted to let them know to pick their children up by 4:00pm.
