 
Biddy Basketball : Co-Ed Grades 2-6.
 The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA has offered our Biddy Basketball Program for 44 years. The YMCA's co-ed basketball program serves Auburn, Lewiston, and surrounding communities by affording boys and girls in grades 2-6 an opportunity to involve themselves in an organized basketball program. The YMCA's youth basketball league for kid's in grades 2-6 is designed to instruct the basic fundamentals of basketball and to develop individual skills of dribbling, shooting, and passing, within a team atmosphere.
The league is divided into two divisions, the Pee Wee
Division and the Junior Division. Each division will conduct a
“draft” which will evaluate individual talent levels in order to
provide the best possible scenario for equal play among teams.
The Biddy Basketball Program emphasizes the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. The focus of the program is to have each child gain an understanding of the game, improve skill level, learn team play, build self-esteem, show good sportsmanship, and most of all have fun!

Rookies : Co-Ed Grades K-1
 Our YMCA Rookies program is for children in kindergarten or the first grade who have completed an
instructional basketball program.
Rookies is designed to get these young players more experience playing a game.
The program runs for 14 weeks from 8-9am on Saturday Mornings
starting November 5th. The purpose of Rookies is to get your son or daughter to feel comfortable for when they move up to our Pee Wee Division.
Program runs from November 5, 2011 to February 11, 2012. Cost for the program is $35
for members and $75 for non-members. (Youth Membership is
$7.75/month EFT)
Skills and Drills : Co-Ed Ages 4-6
 Our Skills and Drills program is an instructional program for girls and boys ages 4 through 6. The program is designed to focus on the introduction and development of dribbling, passing, and shooting, through games and instruction.
As the classes advance, we hope to introduce defensive concepts and team play.
The classes are broken up into age groups, 4 year olds and 5 year olds who have never played before are in session 1 and the 5 year olds who have played and the 6 year olds are in session 2.
Each class is 45 minutes and meets once a week.
Ages 4-5 on Mon 4:30-5:15pm
Ages 5-6 on Mon 5:30-6:15pm
Ages 4-5 on Wed 4:30-5:15pm
Program Runs January 9th to February 15th
Cost: $22.50 for members and $45.00 for non-members
A Youth Membership is only $7.75 a month EFT (Electronic Funds
Transfer), and participants must be active members through the
duration of the program.
