Child Care Lead Teacher
The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is now accepting applications for
the Full-Time position of
Toddler Lead Teacher in our Child Care program. Experience
is preferred for this 40 hour per week position (M-F). Join a
team of professionals geared to provide quality childcare that
promote the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and
Responsibility to the greater Auburn-Lewiston area. Enjoy
interaction with children and their families in a safe,
nurturing and fun environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in ECE, or a CDA or 12 college credits in ECE
Prior experience in a childcare setting
Dependable and Reliable

Ability to establish good relations with families
Motivated to maintain a safe, stimulating, high quality
program for children
Ability to plan and implement a curriculum that meets
childrens individual needs

Member Service Staff
Part-Time Position: 25-30 hours a week
Excellent customer service skills are a must! This person must
be self motivated, detail oriented, and possess the skills to
effectively multi-task.
Computer experience is necessary with a strong knowledge of
Microsoft Excel and Word documents. The person hired will also
receive training for operations in our software system.
Responsibilities Include: Greeting Members &
Guests, Providing Program Information, Signing up New & Renewing
Members, Setting up Programs, Registering Participants, and
General Clerical Duties.

Membership Secretary
Part-Time Position: 15-20 hours a week
This person must be self motivated, detail oriented, and possess
excellent customer service skills.

Membership Secretary position will receive training for
operations in our software system.
Primary Responsibilities Include: Running Reports;
Membership Tracking, Billing & Collections.

Lifeguard / Swim Instructor
Positions available are Part-Time, up to 20 hours a week.
Job Requirements
Must possess mature judgment and sound decision-making. Ability
to relate to people in a positive, but firm manner. Must be
observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly
in an emergency. Ability to effectively communicate information
on aquatics programs to members and participants.
Education Requirements
High School Graduate or equivalent w/a current: LG
Certification, CPR-FPR, and State Approved First Aid
Certification. Swim lesson experience preferred. *Some
training/certification may be available, please inquire FMI.
