Mark W. Anthoine, Sr. ~ Vice President
Mary
B. Curtis ~ Secretary Works as
Treasurer at Sam's Italian Bakery, where one of her primarily
functions is to keep the president (Gary Curtis) healthy and
happy :) I believe that life is greatly improved when one
has contact with a wide variety of people in varied activities.
Involvement with the Y and it's Christian philosophy, focus on
youth development, healthy living and social responsibility
fulfills those needs. My husband Gary is religious about his 5am
workouts. My son, Chris, was a Y basketball kid for years and is
living in Raleigh. My daughter, Katie, is living in Jacksonville
but will run to the Y when home to catch a Group Groove class
whenever she can.

Elizabeth Shea ~ Past President
Retired teacher for Auburn. Taught special education for 33
years. The YMCA has always played an instrumental role in my
life. As a child growing up in CT, I was a die hard swim team
member as well as a member of the "Leader's Club". All four of
our children were involved in either the Y Biddy basketball or
the swim team . When our youngest started on the Y swim team
(30+ years ago) I once again started exercising at the Y and
haven't stopped since.
